ABOUT US
Apropos languages is a language school that specializes in teaching and translation.
When it was founded in 2013, our guiding idea was meeting the various language needs of our clients.
General or business language courses are intended for those who want to learn a language or refresh their existing knowledge.
Our experienced teachers employ a creative approach to teaching, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The teaching takes place in small groups at our centre, located in the very centre of business life of the city.
Every participant is different in terms of needs and motivation. This is why we have developed an individualized approach to teaching that our clients recognize and love. To us, learning is not just about studying, we value socializing and creativity as well.
Our teachers also host special workshops where a particular language and its culture are introduced through creative language teaching methods.
Our experience has brought us numerous business customers as we are located in the vicinity of renowned companies near the business area of Radnička and Green Gold. Our school's curriculum is fully adapted to the highest European standards. We look forward to new participants and their progress because being able to convey knowledge is the most beautiful part of our work.
OUR TEAM
IVA SEKULIĆ
The school’s director and headIva Sekulić holds a degree in French language and literature education and Comparative Literature.
After graduating from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and accumulating 10 years of experience in teaching specialized French language courses for general public, school children and renowned companies such as Lactalis, Renault and Dalekovod, as well as translating technical papers, literary and historical works, she opened her own language centre in 2013, Apropos languages.
Having attended numerous courses and workshops abroad, such as the ones in Paris and Dijon, as well as translation workshops in Zagreb, and collaborating with both business and private clients, she started a language school creating a highly effective programme.
MATEA BOROVEC
TeacherGraduate student of Italian and Latin at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
In addition to teaching group and individual courses, she has experience translating and proofreading various types of texts.
Additional skills: Elementary Music School in Osijek, holder of the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
She enjoys passing her love for various languages and cultures to her students.
ANAMARIJA KRAMAR
TeacherGerman and Portuguese language and literature teacher with experience in teaching both group and individual courses.
She participated in “DIP IN SOE” workshops and other workshops given by the Goethe Institute, which has helped her in making her own teaching and lessons even more creative.
TATJANA JUKIĆ
TeacherEnglish and Italian language and literature teacher.
She has attended numerous language and culture workshops abroad. She loves travelling and enjoys passing her experiences to her students.
